ok, now its clear. i do too. i'd also reprioritize govt, but their self interests appear to be too strong and the electorate apparently likes it that way.

that's not what i said. life is more than tweo opposing buckets of points of view. i want the govt to reduce spending and pay down the debt. yes, before either you or i see a dime of tax reduction. imho, anything else is selfish. our generation (really, not so much mine, but the one just before mine - but i'll lump myself in anyway) robbed future generations (really, my generation, but who's counting).

the least we could do is return some of the spoils of the robbery rather than think ME, ME, ME all the time.

we've voted in people to rob from future generations enough.
