SAN DIEGO, Jan 4, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that it has entered into a CDMA worldwide enterprise infrastructure equipment license agreement with GBase Communications, headquartered in Walnut Creek, Calif. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, QUALCOMM has licensed GBase Communications certain QUALCOMM patents and technology to develop, manufacture and sell wireless infrastructure equipment for private, in-building or campus-wide network enterprise applications using cdmaOne(TM), cdma2000 and cdma2000 1xEV technology
