Too general. Smart money will know if there is even a trend. If there isn't a trend, play ranges and only commit capital to fresh reversals from one end of the range to the other. If there is a trend, catch fresh reversals off of dips or short fresh reversals off of highs. For short termers/daytraders a trend is whether prices are trading today above or below the opening price.
