the last bit from fleck yesterday , ho ho Blue Christmas. . . If it wasn't so sad, it would be hilarious. A few days before Christmas, my editor was in line with his family for Santa photos. There were two 15-year-old girls ahead of him and he overheard Santa ask the girls what they wanted for Christmas. Without a moment of hesitation, they replied, "We want the stock market to go back up." Let there be no doubt how pervasive equities have become in every day life when even teenagers realize they can have an impact on their Christmas.
