...I continue to be represented by the same liberal in D.C. every damned election... Count your blessings buster. I've lived in Hawaii for 25 years and have NEVER had even one conservative representative in that time. In fact, the only time these dullards have elected anyone other than an incumbent liberal is when our last liberal Senator died in office of old age. ON TOPIC: Is there any way of telling whether this rally is the result of shorts covering or brand new buyers wading into the muck? AM 2 1/4

The "English Dictionary" describes a "Democracy" as 1.Government by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives. Notice, it says nothing about "Homemaker's in Santee, California casting your vote for President as a "Proxy" for your best interests.. (In the event that you may not "BE SMART ENOUGH" to understand what is in your best interest!) That's why we use Electors.. So in case it is decided that you are not really "intellectually qualified" to cast your vote for President.. Then they can simply default your vote to the President of the Santee Republican Ladies Bridge Club..... PCSTEL
