I was a big fan of his once. Until he showed his true
dollar stained colors. <and left the team in the process> EDIT: I don't blame him for going for the $$$, just don't preach one thing <winning team is most important> then do another. To be fair, I don't know if Texas will be competitive or not. Seems like his ridiculous salary will hurt more than help.

Forget it, I think A-Rod is a pig.

Its bad enough he's being paid all those dollars for playing ball, but then he tries to put the blame for his move on Mariner management. He said he had no choice but to go with the Rangers' deal because the Mariners owner was off in Hawaii and no one seemed willing to put a counter offer together. What a crock!

I am glad the Mariners were smart enough not to fall for the notion that A-Rod walks on water and should be paid many millions. The Rangers' owner needs to have his butt jacked.

Otherwise, I don't have much to say about A-Rod. ;~))
