I know of some folks paid a lot less than 45k who are doing the same thing --

what I don't like about the advertising is the low teaser rates for some. 2.9% or 0.0% -- then they jack the price and the rate is for 2 years or shorter terms -- it'll change soon if it hasn't already.

OT-I am not too familiar with leases because I have this really bizarre habit of paying cash for things. But I hear that it's caught on, and that leases actually tend to cost people more than financed purchases. In any case, IMHO it is insane for people to pay more than half their yearly salary for a car. I did notice last year, when I was car shopping, it was damn hard to get somebody to give me a cash quote.
