Interesting News out...AOL "trading below growth rate"

(REUTERS) AOL, Time Warner shares jump 10 percent after slump
AOL, Time Warner shares jump 10 percent after slump

By Reshma Kapadia
NEW YORK, Jan 4 (Reuters) - After about a week of sinking
to new 52-week lows, shares of would-be merger partners America
Online Inc.<AOL.N> and Time Warner Inc.<TWX.N> rebounded more
than 10 percent Thursday as investors decided the shares were
undervalued.
"When you look at valuations, when (AOL) was trading below
30, it was below its growth rate. Even for a normal company,
this is an aberration and an established, bigger company should
trade at a premium. It was an undervalued stock," said Youssef
Squali, analyst at ING Barings.

PALM we watched that for a while, but the smoke was more like a those smoke rings you see with peace pipes, full of holes.. PALM has had a bearish engulfing below its 20 period moving average and looks to drop from here. Of course it could move again tomorrow.. I also like it for a daytrade but its not convincing today.. SNDK, VRTS IBM EMC and CSCO were looking okay but also pulled back. Nothing inherently bad about PALM but investors/traders are leery of anything more than a daytrade or overnight hold. I held overnight and they were all up but I sold.
