For what it's worth, I don't believe the semiconductor cycle has bottomed yet. However, I do believe buying here and playing for a short term run is going to be profitable.

With regards to a bottom for this market, I don't believe we're going to see a V shaped bottom so characteristic during the bull run of the past ten years. I don't know if the third leg of your bear market will transpire into another leg of a W or whether we'll see a saucer shaped bottom. Irregardless, the Nasdaq will be confined to a trading range yet to be defined. We're merely quibbling over the ranges on the bottom half.

Don't tell me there aren't any "quality" companies you believe in for the long run? There's bound to be some winners in the long run.
