Fair enough; but on the brighter side.

If the yield curve goes from inverted to normal sloping, the credit spreads on corporate debt will come down dramatically and that will be a much more favorable environment for those telcos, and that willl help out the banks.

The trade imbalance would be helped out by a weakened dollar...consumer and corp. debt definitely an issue !

Could well be a sideways market as you say, but I think the time frame of 2-3 years is a little long. The retest of lows, wouldn't be surprised at all if you are right on that one.

Besides, you will probably just start writing calls if the mkt goes sideways, so why worry ?
