SSTI, SNDK, and ATML are the chosen companies we follow. Of the group, where I really do not have a favorite, I like the SSTI story the best, given their technology licensing, industry demand for flash, and the foundry opportunities that were mentioned in the article already posted here. Of the 3 above, SNDK is more of the "brand name" that people are specifically asking for when they go into the electronics stores like Best Buy. Much like Kleenex, SNDK will do well with its brand recognition. ATML is a more diversified company, but I have the ability to keep on top of things here in Colorado and abroad due to my industry contacts. I like ATML for a variety of reasons but the Flash memory is icing on the cake. I am familiar with TSEM and FLSH but we chose to narrow our focus on what we believed to be the best of breed. we can very well be wrong, but our focus is on ATML, SSTI and SNDK. this does not mean we think any less of the other companies, which have merits in their own right.
