Dick, <LMAO!!! I just made it to the toilet!!!!>
<Ali... You are a genius. You got all of that out of the following comment made by this guy...>

Maybe I am :)
But you have at least two problems: a kind of diarrhoea,
and the attention deficit disorder. Have you ever
heard of a news thread and how to follow them?

"I bought a new Micron computer from BestBuy and either something is wrong or this thing is slow. Maybe you can help me understand wich is the case. It is a 1Ghz Athlon system with 128 MB of DDR PC1600 Ram.

When I bought this machine the thing came with 1,
30gig partition. I bought partition magic and changed it into 4. C= WinME, D= Win2k, E= Backup files, F=(Is gonna be Linux). Just before the Linux Install I copied a 200MB folder from my "Backup Files" drive to my "C" drive. I did this from within Win2K. *It took almost 5 minutes* This is *very* slow. I booted over to WinME and copied the same 200MB folder to my D drive and it took about 1-2 Minutes. This is still to slow for my tastes but much better obviously."

Go get some help.
