Chic,

So how has Crisco magically reported increasing earnings when they haven't been able to grow operating income for four quarters even when
revenue is growing by as much as 60% YoY

This is the same "discussion" I was having with GV... or at least the implied issue. Perhaps a better question to ask yourself is - if CSCO is growing revenues at 60%+YoY why are earnings not growing at an equivalent rate...given that margins - although lower - lower by less than a point. Where's the money going? I think if you investigate this you may get to your answer.

OG

I'm not worried about their option overhang.

My concern is how they continue to execute. I have followed the company for ten years now and I know a lot of you bears are concerned about earnings.

Their books look pretty good to me so each one of us has to take action according to their own perspective.

Cisco is still the best "growth" stock that I've ever seen in thirty plus years of investing.

I think it will be a great trading vehicle here for a few more weeks but once the Fed cuts rates again don't be short....

It could get very bloody for the shorts going forward.

Remember the best come back the fastest in the long run.
