Would it be because CF is an end product and Intel in general don't do it ?

I'm mostly curious. The CF market seems meaningfully large and rapidly growing, and thus my wonder as to why Intel shouldn't participate. Maybe they sell the flash chips for integration into the CF products(?). Gary's reply (see post after yours) seems to apply here.

Has Intel said whether they are producing flash at capacity? Is the flash industry capacity-limited at this time?
