Stocker, There is now an increasing appetite for junk bonds. Warren Buffet was buying in the last couple of weeks.
The yields in corporate bonds is somewhat higher than treasuries---depending upon the individual credit risks. The buying by investors does help those needing capital--such as the CLECs.

The yields on the governments are just getting too low for those interested in getting capital gains in addition to the interest payments. The prospects for gains on treasuries are not there and it is hard to justify staying in that market for long.
That is why i expect more reallocation of model porfolios to include greater stock percentages.
