Hi Dave B; While you are right that "DDR sales are minimal.", they are nevertheless probably close to the size of RDRAM production. There's a lot of DDR going into graphics cards.

But the real kicker for current revenue is SDRAM, and sales of that are not minimal.

Dave, RE: Weighed against the risk of paying not only back royalties but also damages, as well as the risk of not getting as favorable a royalty rate down the road (and, of course, we won't even mention the risk of not being able to produce DDR at all), this would be a pretty short-sighted, cut-off-your-nose-to-spite-your-face attitude to adopt.

Note that historically, Micron has taken a knife to its nose on many occasions with little regard to face spiting implications.

Dave,

Weighed against the risk of paying not only back royalties but also damages, as well as the risk of not getting as favorable a royalty rate down the road (and, of course, we won't even mention the risk of not being able to produce DDR at all), this would be a pretty short-sighted, cut-off-your-nose-to-spite-your-face attitude to adopt.

Do you really believe this stuff?
