McCain vows to restart his attack on the Constitution immediately.

WASHINGTON – Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain and Wisconsin Democrat Sen. Russ Feingold announced Thursday new support for campaign finance "reform" legislation and vowed to seek action before President-elect Bush sends his legislative agenda to Capitol Hill.

"We think the best time to address it would be ... before the Bush legislative agenda comes before the Hill," McCain said.

Commenting on the event, CNN reporter Major Garrett stated: "it is a breach of etiquette for a senator not to defer to a newPresident and for the senator to introduce his own legislation before coming out with his own proposals."

Hey John!! I hear the the Reform party is looking for good men [hint hint nudge nudge]. Perot/McCain 2004. Has a nice ring to it don't it John?
