I'd recommend the book Original Meanings by Jack N. Rakove amazon.com Anyway, I'm for putting off the politics, but, OTOH, not much else to do while we watch the train wreck. On topic, I was going to guess the short squeeze was due to folks taking their gain now we are in a new year. But it is interesting that bonds have been on the rise. Maybe the rise is real...?
