Glenn, I think you followed Billy into his picks of Arba,Akam,Amsc,Brcm,Bvsn,Cpst,Dclk,Mu,Scon,Vert,Vign, and maybe more.
So far on paper or cashed out, have they made you any $money on his picks?

Let's not beat this to death please.

I have a gain for the year 2000 in MU due to trading in and out. I currently own some mU now at a 30% loss. I made some money in Scon during Q1 of 2000. Took profits but re-entered later and lost more than I gained. I sold out5 around Novmeber I believe. I hat a lot of gains in Q1 2000 on some of these stocks. I re-entered on most of them t5oo and currently, my unrealized losses exceed my realized gains.

The issue that comes to mind too is the market itself is down from a year ago. Some sectors did well such as energy.

William's risk tolerance is higher than mine. I follow some of his picks and some I do not touch. William I believe is still bullish on Amazon. He and I do not need to agree on every stock. Yes many of the "high flyers" without profits got killed in the year 2000 and William seems willing to take that risk. I am more conservative in some positions and have been thinking of rotating into more established firms. William never has stated a stock is going to go this quarter or next or the following year. He does choose stocks based on his belief they will do well over a period of time and exits them when the fundamentals be believed in change. We all do that or should. Something changes within a firm and we exit.

My point is unless I was in Pharmaceuicals during the year 2000, I would have lost money if I was long.

I do not follow anyone entirely. If I was a total follower, I would have cut my losses on my Amazon short way back in 97-98. Bill told me not to short it and to go long. Mark said to go long and I would have made back all I lost on my short. That is an accurate statement had I done it at that point in time and knew when to exit later.

I never understood why you guys hate each other so much. You don't have to agree on investment style to get along.

Bill called me a "Cementhead" when I was short and once you and I disagreed on something and you called a little something. It is all forgotten now<G>
