His large caps have been no brainer types like cisco, amat, intc etc. The smaller stocks for the most part have been abyssmal this year--bmcs nite, cdo, wcom

Zoiks, wcom at a beaten down $56 billion mrkt cap. isn't exactly small cap yet. It still has a higher mrkt. cap than large-cap amat. ...which brings up a point, AMAT really isn't in the same mrkt. cap universe as the truly big boyz, yet they are the 'gorrilla' of their industry. I guess the best way for that 'surprise' finding to be corrected is a much higher stock price ;-)
