"why is Eugene holding a popularity contest with that 10 for 2001 now instead of perfromance contest??" The idea was to have the thread pick their top ten and then take the 10 most named and TRACK THEM VS. A VALUE PORTFOLIO OF TECH AND OTHERS and discuss the results. If the threads results SUCK, maybe they/we will learn something. "Is he afraid of which stocks could actaully win?" Wasn't the idea. My picks were at the bottom, if you want a contest vs. me, here it is: go ahead and pick against my conservative ten: t,wcom,lu,usg,hd,cost,jwn,bac,c,axp. The contest started 12/1.
