OT/Don. Sounds like a good place for a party in the Spring or Fall.

When it's not quite so hot.

No neighbors breathing down your neck? Bring in a good light rock or blues band, a keg a suds and...yep, yoder be all them SI posters kicking up the dust as they barrel up the driveway(g).

thank you all for the implied laudations of my retired lifestyle, but i am not sure a 2 mile 4wd narrow, dirt road is quite party material. some of you high-flyers must own nice beachfront estates on the gulf coast - no? this place, stitzel canyon, is so far off the track our kids won't even come and visit. (the many of you in the bay area can thank alameda county for us for sending us nice checks every month for staying home and not cluttering the roadways) and thanks to those warning me on the pitfalls of t.a. i am very conservative with everything i do since making 300K$ in bios in 8 wks. this time last year and then giving back 60% of my profits. ouch! (the barely-salvaged other 40% is what bought the maine house.) it's one of the reasons i somewhat respect slider's occasionally puerile, but edifyingly cautious, rants.

comment here on eurobonds. seems a little late...? i put >half of all my money into begbx several weeks ago and am very pleased. i don't know how much more is to be gained. if the dollar really goes to hell, then it's very nice $currency-deflation insurance. the trick might be timing the get-out if europe starts down the slope behind us, but then what do you do with the $? can only put so much in au.

yesterday's oil buys seem to be holding up. maybe i was right about support levels. hope, hope. don
