could you tell me this. is it any sort of improvement, iyo?

tom said he guessed it would mean less cpu usage. but does turning it off impact your windoze experience?

fwiw, i tried the windows de-animation adjustment ( #reply-15126616 ) in w98se, and i have to really use my imagination to notice a difference.

i guess some tips are better than others. <g3> though in fairness, the tip did say that the animation is more annoying on some pc's than on others.
