I have been a stock owner since childhood. I attended my first Board of Directors meeting when I was 7 years old. In my family, small quantities of stock were considered appropriate stocking stuffers. Over the years I met CEOs from many of the largest companies in the US as well as many in Asia, and finance ministers, prime ministers etc. I know some VCs, but I am not tight in those circles. I did help VCs raise funds in the 80s -- mainly by locating money from institutional investors. I have been involved in the market one way or another most of my life. How about you?
