I think that an important distinction though, is that they didn't decide to sell their plants. They were forced to sell them through the de-regulation mandate.

I got lucky and sold my EIX in October.

luckily for the rest of the USA we get to have Ca as the test case for de-reg of energy, etc... I know Tx is slated to join the team soon. We're on a CO-op out here so I have my doubts on whether our cousin network can secure what we need when competing with TPL and the other big boys
