I am just buying KEM. VSH warned, KEM didn't and actually reassured and even has a lower PE. KEM is also one of the very few tech stocks up right now with the NAZ -89.

This shows it has some good relative strength.

<<If it is good news for KEM, could it also be good news for VSH and AVX?>>

Based on their negative announcement, I'm afraid of Vishay, but AVX's stock, I think, is as good as Kemet's, and I'd guess that good news for one is good news for the other. AVX reports earnings on Jan.11 and could well run up into its earnings and then pop for a half hour or so if earnings (as I expect) are strong. Could be a good short-term play here, and AVX should return to the 1 to 1 1/2 point premium it's been sporting over KEM. Vishay is another story, but over the longer term will recoup and once again sell for more than KEM or AVX.
