there was a "typical" Mexican pyramid used in ceremonies that had two carved lions

Yeah.. saw that show on the pyramids and I was convinced by the evidence provided.

As for the show with the Mayan lions, I never saw it. However, doesn't it strike you as a bit funny that, so far as I know, there are no lions of that type in the Americas.

As for the Nazca plains, I don't buy Von Daniken's "Chariots of the Gods" theories (I also see he is popping his head up again on various TV shows).

But I DO believe that ancient pre-colombian natives were able to use Balloon technology as the Nazca markings would likely have required someone at altitude to guide their creation.

I don't know what to believe, but I do love a mystery!

AMEN!! Who knows what our actual past is? And even if we knew, why does it truly matter? I figure it's more important to figure out where we're going, than where we've been.

But needless to say, the fact that we could be possibly missing some 10,000 years in the history of human civilization raises some serious questions. And I say civilization because it would have required and organized culture of some size to enable and justify the creation of something like the sphinx.

Regards,

Ron
