"Baby Boomers"

Thanks Amy.

Note to self: Sell everything in late 2007 and buy something else; I don't know what, but get rid of those stocks.

Regards,

Jeff

Amy,

Here's another perspective on the baby boomers.

As they die, the parents of that generation are turning over enormous conservative investments that are being reinvested in a much less conservative way. There is a huge reallocation of capital occurring.

The reason that this capital is invested so conservatively is because those parents grew up in the depression and remained cautious all their lives.

Their children became us and we invest our money differently. Even when the tip of the boomer generation reaches 65 in 2010 and start to take more out of social security than they are putting in, there will still be a huge reservoir of funds yet to be turned over to their control.
