The feds are meeting on Jan 30 and 31, and the fact that they do not meet until mid March again, as well as what they do then will have an impact on the market. The market may start anticipating some "good news" just a week before the next FOMC meeting, and after the fact, I believe they may, once more, relapse.

The Fed meets every 6 weeks. If a blank month occurs, that just means the Fed is meeting early in the following month. Really there is no rush to act at a Fed meeting just because the next month is blank. The next Fed meeting is -- as always -- just 6 weeks away.
