Given that AMD has a disproportionate share of the retail market vs the corporate market, another factor might be rather important in your equation.

That additional factor wouldn't work in AMD's favor.

AMD's "market share" is usually expressed in terms of units, not percentage of revenue. I'll bet AMD's percentage of sales is a lot lower than their percentage of units sold, given AMD has a much lower ASP than Intel.
