hdl, remember PEs expand as earnings contract. In addition, the loss of stock market gains to supplement profits may be gone. Back out Intel's investment gains and I think the trailing PE is about 30. Moreover, at some point employees may want cash in leui of options if stock prices languish or decline for an extended period of time ( bear market). Mike

3 days in a row and i'm rich again. i am so long I am on margin. my portfolio totals, gains are totalled by computer. I was feeling good yesterday. Then, I was concerned this morning at the open and now I'm up another 2 1/2 %. Drinks for all but lt are on me.
