I have read the lyrics in articles, and they are offensive. My kids are young- and are not allowed to watch commercial television, or listen to music I don't approve of, or watch anything worse than a pg movie- unless I am with them. That probably won't last- although my oldest is not a risk taker, and my middle child is disabled, so I think I will have it easier than many parents when it comes to controlling my children.

I've never listened to the music.

There is a huge constitutional problem with doing much about his music, though.

Good morning Poet,

I don't intend to start an argument, but can you explain how Eminem is a pioneer? I don't know much about the guy or his music, but I find it hard to imagine he's doing anything that hasn't already been done.
