Lott is a back slapping Rotarian. He does seem out of his depth as leader of the Senate.

The press hated Newt, and took a beating because Lott wouldn't do or say anything that might be misconstrued as supporting him.

Trent was too busy singing in his barber shop quartet which also included democrats as he was quick to point out.

We need a strong leader now that we have control of both houses, one who's not afraid to stand up to the press and the democrats and take their lumps.

It's all about winning, just ask Daley.
