The Fed rate cuts were an event risk in as much as I was looking for a short-term decline from December 28. The only thing they changed was that prior to the huge jump on Wednesday, the indications were for a 10-20 percent decline in the S&P 500. The big jump caused momentum for a lot of stocks to shift from negative to postivie. As of close of Wednesday, the indications were for a normal decline of up to 10%.
