CAtech,

What is your take on the Naz today? Volume is lower, but it would be nice to stabilize.

The dereg in Cali was NOT a dereg at all. Just a change of regulations. The Natural gas was supposed to end up in a so called "free market". Well it didn't...... they can sell NG at any price they want now .....and they are.

It will be fixed, and the whole market should not suffer for it.

What a crazy market.....so much for the GOOD call on Tuesday. <g>

I agree completely. EIX has vast holdings in many businesses, and real estate. They also hold 1/2 interest in every major co-gen plant on the west coast through the subsidiary "Mission". Which means that those co-gen plants are among the ones collecting those high rates. If you live in so cal, you can see a small high rise in Orange County on the 405 freeway that has "Mission" at the top of it. Yup, it's owned by EIX. They have all kinds of burglar alarm companies as well as having bought "Westec Security". Which was known as probably the best private rent a cop company in the country. And the money to buy all this stuff came from the rate payers to so cal edison. EIX can sell all that stuff. Or go ahead and go bankrupt. They want to go whining to the PUC like they always have and come out of this smelling like a rose without loosing any of the businesses, and real estate (vast real estate holdings) that they stole from the ratepayers by taking it from so cal edison and giving it to Mission and their other "new" holding companies. Let em go bankrupt...the bankruptcy courts will sell all that stuff and give the money back to the rate payers....
