JakeStraw, JDSU at $35 WAS a good price because if you
look at a point & figure chart, that was the aerea
of greatest support and from where it took off 2 years ago.

In fact it never got there. All it did was go down to 37.2
a couple of weeks ago when it was downgraded.
Those where times of extreme duress and if all it did is
go down there then I would say 37.5 is where the current support is.

The problem however with valuing JDSU on a standard that
existed 2 years ago, is that
you are assuming that JDSU is the SAME co it was 2 years
ago: It is not.

Since then JDSU bought ETEK and SDLI and has grown like a monster
in the optical space.

I strogly doubt it will ever get even below 38.

I waited a long time before finally deciding to enter big time
at 38.5 last week. I watched and watched and watched
and finally went in last Fri and Mon-Tues.
Just lucky I guess it coincided with Fed rate drop.

Today, great jitters about Calif.
Greenie is worried too. That is why he went there last week.

I simply don't think Bush and Greenie will stand
for this nonsense in Calif.
Calif. will be shown, sooner than you think, that
Greenie and Bush are not going to take any
non-sense from the flower children over there.

Also, CA is heavily Democratic. I think the Dems in
Congress will also get involved to save CA from their
Liberal nightmare.
