I find it odd that everyone seems to ignore this fact.. CSCO has doubled revenues in two years.... yet there is no net benefit to operating income.... why? Because they are turning these funds back into the company to generate new technologies and cultivate new markets. Yet, the accountants on the thread choose to ignore this. That is why CSCO is not a choice of most bean counters. YOu have to understand the market and how CSCO is executing to succeed in new and developing markets to fully appreciate it's value.

Well, everything you say is true, but also take a look at revenues.

If they cannot grow operating cash-flow (excluding investment income, stock-option-related flows, stock-option-related tax credits, and stock-option-related put sales) even as they explode revenues, what does that tell you? Think hard...
