Ya know,

Its funny but most people don't know McVeigh's
reason for taking out the Federal Building. He
had been a protestor at Waco, holding signs and
leafletting about the abuse of the Federal Gov's
power to search and seize, without reason. When
the ATF and FBI decided it was time (along with
Reno, who gave the order) to liquidate the comp
ound and those in it, McVeigh sought revenge.
It was never talked about much, but there was
an ATF office in the Federal Building that was
the target. McVeigh had actually done an inves-
tigation to find out where those agents were
based who had done the initial attack in Waco.
His conclusion was that it was that office. This
is something that is not talked about in the media
at all. If this was back in 1776 and those were
British Troops, he would have been a hero, but
these are different times. Personally, I think
the guy should fry. The way to deal with things
like this is through the courts (which the survivors
of Waco lost their lawsuit), in a trial by jury.
