BRCD and SCMR were overnight plays.
My target on SCMR was 35 for a 200% gain. Hard to pass up with expiry in 2 weeks.
Same for BRCD but it did not drop as far. Had to settle for 30%

Where I blew it was on RIMM as I had March options and I could have had 6 more points. However I expected a retracement back to the intraday low before the Greenspan surprise and that is where it stalled. I bailed. Will think twice next time.

I also closed my leap puts on tech. No sense in having all that premium tied up on leaps for what are probably 6 month plays at best. So it made some sense for me to sell those as well. Finally I sense quite a bit of fear here. If panic comes tomorrow I will be able to jump in with a call raid.

Reasons for everything, not sure if they all tie together.

Our strategies will differ somewhat, but one HUGE difference is I have 20-30% in PUTs at times. I need to periodically take profits far quicker than you. That is probably the best reason of all.

I admit to having had a bad night after AG cut the rates because I had held onto my Dow short position and then added a short on SPY in the middle of that giant erection.

With the detumescence of the market's satyriasis I am somewhat relieved.
