Pat, It was a very low choice on purpose to show a valuation model. I was using a valuation from the comm chip sector for conservative growth, stocks like AMCC with make optical components. My point was that if we were to descend to a SECTOR growth rate of 25%, the PEG is still reasonable. Clearly if these growth rate of over 100% are to be believed by the buying public, then I'd agree there is a fire sale. But they're not at this point because no-one thinks JDSU is at a bargain, as we both know (except for some other folks on this thread). Steve PS: I am glad I hid the keys to my truck for now.......<G>
