<Silver and gold are just dead. They just get no respect.>

Music to my ears <g>

Consider this about silver:

*open interest is under 75,000, the lowest level in 13 years, often associated with a market bottom.

* The US Defense National Stockpile Center just delivered it's last remaining stockpile of silver, 15,000,000 ounces to the US mint for it's coinage programs.

*According to Bullish Review, commercials are 95% long.

I agree on the strategy of options, using April 475 calls as my vehicle.

As for corn, the rise in nat gas prices could cause the price of fertilizer to double, the way I understand it (I've been told) this will cause farmers to shift from corn to beans as beans don't need as much fertilizer. If nothing else, a nice long corn/short beans spread looks interesting.

Would you mind sharing some of your ratdog mining picks with me?
Thanks for your thoughts.
