It's always my initial assumption that everything Greenspan does is for the benefit of the Commercials at the expense of small traders. The COT cutoff is Tue. night, isn't it? It would be interesting to see if the Commercials sold puts heavily on Tue. and then bought them back after the "surprise". It's my impression, from watching the action on my watch list, that the common has been in heavy distribution starting about 30 minutes after the initial announcement. What did they know, and when did they know it? Also, what do they think is going to happen in the intermediate term going forward?
