Tradestation can do all that, however its up to you as a user to implement your own custom rules and programs. Some simple stuff is prebuilt into the solution. Any chart study that you develop works the same whether its delayed, end of day, or real time data. I have not used Metastock however I'm familiar with its development language, since Windows on Wallstreet used the same constructs. I don't care for it, its a non procedural language and certainly will not be as flexible as Tradestations 'EasyLanguage'.
