GS analyst cut earnings estimates on IBM today, that will make it easier for them to deliver an upside surprise.
i'm not sure when they report, but i think soon.
i also think their biz is going to hell in a handbasket, and their overleveraged balance sheet is going to bite them badly going forward.
btw, with their huge buyback program, it is quite possible that they themselves are propping up the stock.

Amazing the prop job on IBM.Any idea why?
I found myself looking at IBM, (which for some reason I usually distain) after reading somewhere they were pushing mainframes out the door at a pretty good clip.
