"Ashcroft is adamantly anti-abortion but almost equally adamant in favoring the death penalty for various crimes. These are fervent but very contradictory beliefs on human life." Ashcroft believes in the death penalty but he refuses to let a woman chose whether she wants to give birth. These are extremely contradictory views. I'd never thought of Ashcroft from this point of view b4. One thing's for sure. I'd believe he is a SEXIST. I bet if he had to carry a fetus inside his body for nine months he'd think twice b4 he says it's illegal to abort it. Mephisto
