Maybe it just says something about how "open" (or depraved, depends on your point of view) our culture has become that they have to stoop that low to get a rise out of their parents?

I think we had a hand in paving the way for some of it, we were blasted pretty good for such lyrics as ,"God, damn the pusherman" , and out parents were probably pulling their hair out in private.

But this new stuff... it lays waste to respect for ANY morality or even life itself. Guy on a record threatens to kill his wife, and do every degrading thing he can to anyone else and he gets nominated for four Grammys??? Excuse me?
