I don't know if this will turn around....

With the energy crisis that we now have in California, and the upcoming meeting to discuss this California problem, IMO we will be seeing more rate reductions in the near future. I don't believe that either Clinton or Greenspan want to end this period in history with the problems we are now facing.

I think they will do everything possible to turn around our economy...I realize that it will take months for this to change the overall outcome of specific technology stocks, but it will help the confidence of the average investor. It is too bad that we're in this position, as it is now obvious to almost everyone that the rate hikes were taken to an extreme level.

IMO we will see another 50 basis point reduction either at the next FOMC meeting, or maybe another surprise reduction before the FOMC meeting.
