OT to Rick. 1st tresspass was with the UFW lettuce boycott. Had an unusual mother who was only a part of her generation chronologically. Grew organic fruit, ate whole wheat in the 50's & 60s, listened to jazz & folk\social protest music. She had a masters degree when most women of her generation did not go past high school.

Guess she brought me up a little out of the mainstream

Sounds like we have a similar vision for the role of biotech. I've worked for years at facilitating improved patient care while trying to contain costs.

Had to take a friend who is partially sighted and has a low & variable income (aka no insurance) to an urgent care center with prolonged, severe abdominal cramps. Since he has a small inherited house, he has no medical assistance.

He delayed treatment for a day in agony since he was afraid of the bill. I had to almost drag him out the door, saying don't worry about the bill, you need to see a Dr.

Bill for the visit, x-ray, CBC, a 60mg Toradol inj and an anti-spasmotic was $247.

But he's better today.

Scott the night owl.
