I too am very interested in PCG and EIX... BUT, strongly tempering that interest is this: even though the P/E is very low for both companies, and there has to be *some* favorable resolution in the not too distant future - what effect in the most recent reporting period has all of the loss selling of electricity had on the financials? Secondly, are purchases of their bonds maybe the better way to go?

I don't know the answer to any of these questions, but looking at an historical P/E as I normally do just doesn't cut it!

Interested in your thoughts,
