Friday's Hartford Courant had a positive article about AMES - basically saying that sales slump was mild and stock had already discounted it. Looking at the chart there is unfilled gap in the 3 to 4+ range. After that point it is very risky with the possibility of failure in the long term imo. WMT is expanding in the NE, AMES core territory. I see some of this in my area. AMES has locations in suburban areas and rural areas. Right now WMT is attacking the former, not the latter. WMT is moving into former Caldor locations in suburban areas, AMES chose to forego this opportunity.

Back from Las Vegas, thank god, still in one piece. In the mean time AMES did quite well.

More analysis on AMES?

AMES might shot up quite steeply, watch the chart closely? Herzog might not want to average down too low?
